The Tulip Story

Tulip Perfume Co. is an independent, woman-owned perfume brand based in Northern California.

Founded in 2007 by perfumer Victoria England, Tulip creates modern and botanical fragrances, including vegan, cruelty-free eau de parfum sprays and alcohol-free perfume oils. All perfumes are crafted in small batches with a focus on wearability, restraint, and personal ritual.

Rooted in the redwood forests of Northern California, Tulip creates perfume as something personal and wearable — designed to be chosen by scent, not trends.

Tulip began with a girl who couldn’t stop smelling things.

At just fourteen, founder Victoria England spent every spare dollar at a local scent bar in Berkeley, California, captivated by the way fragrance could transport her — to a memory, a feeling, a dream. One of her earliest blends was amber and vanilla, a combination that still lives on today as one of Tulip’s most-loved scents.

What started as a teenage obsession grew slowly and lovingly into a business. In 2007, Tulip took root in the redwood forests of Northern California, where Victoria continues to craft each perfume by hand, inspired by the natural beauty and quiet pace that surrounds her.

Every Tulip scent is a tribute — to nostalgia, emotion, and everyday ritual. We believe perfume should feel personal and soulful, like a memory you can wear.

In 2017, Tulip expanded into a small line of skincare created with the same ethos: clean, gentle, and intentionally crafted. Using organic, plant-based ingredients and produced in small batches, Tulip skincare is rooted in simplicity, transparency, and care for the planet.

While skincare is part of Tulip, perfume remains at the heart of everything we create.
