Before launching Tulip, founder and perfumer, Victoria England, frequently experimented with DIY lotions and salves in her home in the redwoods. For many years, England worked for an acupuncturist, building on her knowledge of herbal medicine and compounding formulas for patients. Living in Humboldt County, medicinal cannabis was easily accessible and naturally became of the primary herbs in England’s medicine cabinet. Sampling her luscious homemade salves and enchanting fragrances, her friends told her she had something special and Tulip was born. Many years before the marketplace was flooded with cannabis-infused products, Victoria England respected the plant and its power to heal – her values are blended into every Tulip cream, fragrance and oil.
